Supported Platforms

We can't support everything right now, but if you have a platform you would like supported please let us know in the forums if you're a community member or your account representative if you're a customer of Technalign. Some distributions are based off others and your distribution may work. We suggest you download a copy of Electricity in either an .rpm or .deb format to see if it does work. Electricity comes with a free trial, so you'll know if your platform works or not before a purchase. Many admins in the forums also run multiple distributions, and everyone is willing to provide support.

Linux supported platforms:

• Pioneer Basic 3 and up, Pioneer Explorer 1 and up, and Pioneer Renegade 1 and up
• LinSpire and FreeSpire latest releases
• Ubuntu 6.06 and up
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workstation 4 and 5 and up
• openSuSE 10.2 and up
• SuSE Enterprise Desktop 10 and up
• Fedora Core 6 and up
• MEPIS and PCLinuxOS are not yet in our pipe for testing, but if you are running one of these distributions and would like to be part of our Beta program, please submit a request.
  

For MAC platforms:

• OS/X on Intel based platforms are only supported by Electricity
