Technalign, Inc. releases Beta 1 of Stage Coach

- Combined Desktop and Server platform
- Based on MigrationSERVER and Pioneer Basic

Cedaredge, CO February 26, 2007: Technalign, Inc. has released the long awaited beta 1 of Pioneer Stage Coach. Stage Coach is the combined server and workstation, which includes the full functionality of Pioneer MigrationSERVER as well as Pioneer Basic. Stage Coach is intended for any individual running a server and workstation at home while it is perfect for a SOHO or single user business.

Dianne Ursini, CEO of Technalign, Inc. stated "This offering is perfect for an individual at home wanting to not only have a great workstation, but also for those who want to use and learn MigrationSERVER." Ursini adds "A SOHO or small home office will find Stage Coach the perfect replacement for Microsoft Small Business Server".

The offering comes about from Technalign Partners requesting a replacement for Microsoft Small Business Server who were finding customers using the server as a workstation as well. The Pioneer community has been requesting a server workstation combo as well wanting a single desktop performing both functions.

Stage Coach includes Pioneer Basic Desktop as well as the Pioneer MigrationSERVER on a single DVD. As with MigrationSERVER, all server administration is made simple via a Webmin interface. SSH is installed on Stage Coach as well for those wishing to administer without Webmin.

As with all Pioneer products, Stage Coach will be free to individuals and Nonprofit organizations wanting to run a workstation, while commercial establishments will be required to purchase a copy and receive full support. Individuals wanting support may purchase copies of any Pioneer products from a retailer, Partner, or Solution Provider.

Stage Coach is on a fast-track for development and it is expected that the final release will be within 4 to 6 weeks. We are requesting that the communities test Stage Coach and offer any suggestions as well as enhancements for improvement. Bug reports should be provided via the Pioneer Forums at http://forums.tapioneer.com. Anyone needing information on the operation of the server functions are requested to use the Knowledge Base.
