PRESS RELEASE - March 23rd 2006 TECHNALIGN, INC. ANNOUNCES FRONTIER BETA PROGRAM FOR CORPORATE DESKTOP AND FORENSICS -
Corporate Desktop for SOHO to Enterprise Delta, CO, March 23, 2006: Technalign, Inc. has announced the beta program for it's new release of TaFusion MEPIS Linux. The new release has been codenamed FRONTIER because of the company's recent move to Delta, Colorado. The beta program will be for the two initial releases under FRONTIER that include the Corporate Desktop and the Forensic system. The company also announced that they will no longer be using version numbers for the future releases of the operating system. "Frontier provides users with the next generation of Linux Operating Systems for the desktop," claims Technalign CEO Dianne Ursini. "Frontier will include all of the current desktop functionality with 1 year of upgrade protection as well as 3 years of updates at no additional charge as with our current releases. The new SECS (Secured Evidence Collection System) will include GUI interfaces for needed tools in both forensic analysis as well as securing networks. The company plans on serializing not only the Operating System, but also the GUI interfaces, thereby providing a trail if the application falls into the wrong hands. Serial numbers will be hard coded into the tools as well as the Operating System. Full training will be available starting in the summer for both the Forensic application as well as the Corporate Desktop in beautiful historic Delta, Colorado. The Frontier release of the SECS product will carry a serial number allowing law enforcement to trace the application back to a purchaser in much the same way a handgun can be traced, states Jim Raubach, Owner/Founder of Forensic Computers. The Frontier Corporate Desktop beta will be released to business users via Technalign's Partner network. Companies will have the ability to have direct input to the applications and provide feedback to development. The Corporate Desktop will include features such as license management via Technalign's FusionPane management system as well as an update push to workstations from a company's server. The Frontier Corporate Desktop will be released on the 17th of April and the Forensic application on the 24th of April. Companies may contact any of Technalign's Partners or Solution Providers to be included in the program listed on the TaFusion website. Companies as well as law enforcement should contact Forensic Computers to be involved in the SECS beta program. About Technalign About MEPIS About
