TECHNALIGN, INC. INCLUDES MANTIS BUG TRACKING SYSTEM WITH TAFUSION MEPIS MIGRATIONSERVER

Pennsauken, NJ, August 8, 2005: Technalign, Inc. has announced that Mantis Bugtracker is being shipped with its TaFusion MEPIS MigrationSERVER. The offering provides customers with the ability to run a helpdesk or even process control functions to solve internal problems. Mantis will also allow development companies to manage issues relating to their products, whether reported internally or by their users.

The most relevant use for Mantis is for business owners to create a tracking system for solving internal process control problems by having employees enter issues within Mantis for resolution. Other applications include using Mantis as a helpdesk that allows companies to provide assistance via Mantis to its employees. Once a resolution is entered in Mantis, the system notifies the relevant parties via email.

TaFusion MEPIS MigrationSERVER is designed to be a simple transition version of Linux for Windows users as well as allowing small and medium businesses an inexpensive and uncomplicated method of getting a server operational. Mantis adds to the functionality of MigrationSERVER to provide additional functionality that companies today desire.

"Mantis provides capabilities to customers allowing for a helpdesk, problem resolution and application bug tracking," concluded Ursini. "Mantis adds another open source product to MigrationSERVER. Mantis also demonstrates the Open Source community is developing applications that are not only useful, but now as easy to manage as any offering in the past, present or what can be expected in the future."

Mantis supports sub-projects that act as a component which are included as part of several projects. Issues relating to these sub-projects will appear as part of their parent projects. Mantis also provides fine control on what actions users can do. It allows customization of workflow and control of when notifications should be sent and to whom. It also provides RSS feeds that users can access through their preferred news aggregator.
