TECHNALIGN RELEASES ITS NEXT GENERATION OF LINUX BASED COMPUTER FORENSICS SYSTEMS
Delta,
CO September 14, 2006: Technalign announced today the new release of
Frontier Forensics SECS (Secured Evidence Collection System). The new
tool replaces Version XI and continues to use MEPIS Linux as the operating
system base. The new SECS product will be available via Forensic Computers
as well as selected Technalign Partners. Those who purchase Frontier
SECS will also be provided with 1 year of access to its secured knowledge
base.
"We are helping law enforcement and corporate security teams to collect evidence correctly and transfer knowledge between all groups, thus helping secure convictions," states Jim Raubach, Owner/Founder of Forensic Computers. Forensic Computers will be including SECS with a variety of current and future systems. With Frontier Forensics, corporate security groups will find the applications essential to risk management, loss prevention and corporate security. The new SECS application allows corporations to maintain the integrity of communications, infrastructure and operations. Law enforcement will have the ability to capture evidence securely and thoroughly. Dianne Ursini, CEO of Technalign, Inc. stated, "The tools available within SECS allow corporate security and law enforcement -- using the secured knowledge base -- to research problems and contribute solutions. We believe the knowledge base combined with the SECS product will provide both communities excellent tools." Traditionally, computer security emphasized prevention only, often overlooking the detection of security violations. The new SECS tool with the secured knowledge base brings the law enforcement community and corporations one step closer to finding complete solutions. Not only will companies have the ability to take preventative measures, but they can quickly detect, log and stop security violations. Warren Woodford, CEO of MEPIS, LLC, said, "The new Frontier Forensics tool represents the next generation in both Linux and Forensics, helping both law enforcement and corporate security to secure evidence, solve crimes, and secure networks."
