PRESS RELEASE - April 5, 2007

Technalign releases Alpha 1 of Pioneer Basic - with NVIDIA and Beryl support

- Support for NIVIDA
- Includes Beryl 3D desktop

Cedaredge, CO, April 5, 2007: Technalign, Inc. has announced today that they have released Pioneer Rifleman Alpha 1 for initial testing. Rifleman requires a DVD for installation and is only recommended for P4 systems, or equivalent, and NVIDIA graphics support. Those running older systems are requested to use Pioneer Basic, also freely downloadable for noncommercial use. Pioneer Rifleman will not support ATI with the Alpha and Beta releases and an ATI release will be available upon final release of Rifleman.

Pioneer Rifleman will bring the Pioneer line to cutting edge technology and allow companies and individuals to experience a more robust version. Automatix is also included with Rifleman and will incorporate business applications as well as the additional most requested applications users are demanding such as a Virtual Machine to run Windows or CrossOver Office for Windows applications.

Dianne Ursini, CEO of Technalign, Inc. stated, "Many individuals have requested that we create a 3D desktop environment out of the box, we will be including much more by final release as well." "We feel the new computer market will justify a DVD based version of Pioneer as well". added Ursini.

Technalign is requesting that the community as well as its partners report bugs and desired drivers. Technalign will start it's repository with the beta release of Pioneer Rifleman and provide updates and drivers not available in the edgy repositories. The final release will use the remaining space on the DVD to include additional applications dialup users may install.

Pioneer Rifleman recommendations are 512 meg of memory, a P4 1.0 or equivalent and higher, 20 gig hard drive and an NVIDIA adapter. Although the system ran in tests of 256 meg of memory and an NVIDIA adapter, the system ran much faster with 512.
