Technalign is now supporting other operating systems besides the commercial distributions of Pioneer Basic, Pioneer Stagecoach and Pioneer MigrationSERVER. The current supported platforms are listed below.

Technalign will support all of the above distributions at a low-cost that are listed. Since Technalign is a commercial company, we believe we need to support the other Linux projects out there. Technalign will provide 5% back to the project. This does not include FreeSpire or Ubuntu and those projects will be dropped into a fund. Any issues found will be documented and shared with the other communities, including any patches that are created at Technalign.

How the fund works

Some distributions have a company behind it such as Linspire or Canonical. Those companies will also be provided with any issues and patches if possible for the distribution, but the 5% will be placed into a pool and when that pool reaches $1,000.00 the community will have the ability to vote on what individual developer or project should be awarded the funds in one $500.00 and two $250.00 awards.

A report will be published once a quarter of the support by application for people to see which distribution is getting the funds. The open fund will also be provided via a link on this page.

The Support System

Technalign support representatives will be using the HIATLANTIS support incident system. Any community project will have the ability to access the system if they wish to view the incidents.
